MEET THE TEAM
RN and The Mama Coach
Prenatal educator, lactation counsellor, and sleep coach
Growing up in the Lower Mainland, Jennifer attended Douglas College where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. From there she started working in the hospital attending to moms and babies. She loved it so much that she tailored furthering her educational training to incorporate a special interest in maternity care, graduating from BCIT with a Certificate of Perinatal Nursing Specialty.
After having her son, she realized the challenges that coincide with motherhood. She never expected she would have a baby with a tongue and lip tie causing breastfeeding troubles, weight gain concerns as well as major sleep issues. It took time to gain the skills and confidence to effectively maintain their breastfeeding journey, and she wants to share her knowledge to help other parents navigate through the overwhelming world of motherhood.
The next big challenge was sleep. Why wouldn’t he sleep? After months and months of sleepless nights she found a sleep solution for her boy. It was life changing for the whole family!
“I realized that I wasn’t the only mom struggling with children and sleep issues and wanted to offer a solution. I believe that all babies are unique and all parenting styles should be respected. All of The Mama Coach programs reflect this.”
