Jessy Jagpal

 

Respiratory Therapist

 

My name is Jessy Jagpal and I am a Respiratory Therapist. I am currently working at BC Women's and Children's Hospital and have been with this organization for over 10 years. 

 

I always imagined having a career in health sciences but it wasn't until my clinical year of Respiratory Therapy school, that I knew I wanted to work with the neonatal and pediatric population. This passion has grown since becoming a father myself. 

 

Over the years of working at BC Women's and Children's Hospital, I have had the privilege to take on many roles such as Clinical Educator, Complex Care Respiratory Therapist, and most recently a Professional Practice Coordinator. I am also a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor.  

 

 As a Respiratory Therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with the neonatal and pediatric population both in and outside of an intensive care setting. We function as a multidisciplinary team and we work closely with families to ensure their loved one's receive the best care and education from admission through discharge and into the community.

 

I am excited to be on board as a member of the Paramount Pediatrics Family and am looking forward to learning and sharing my knowledge in this team based, pediatric care environment.
