Dawn Taylor is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC
Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has been counselling teens and families
for 19 years and provides Clinical Supervision to counsellors and students
completing their Master’s in Counselling. Dawn specializes in working with
Trauma, including both Developmental Trauma and PTSD. Dawn has also worked
extensively with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, Borderline Personality
Disorder, chronic pain, addictions, sexual abuse, grief and loss, and individuals

Dawn has training as a Connect Parent facilitator, DBT, CBT, Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1, and the ATTACh Trauma Therapy as well as a Certification as an Addictions Counsellor. Dawn is working towards a Board Certification in Neurofeedback. Research shows the most important factor in having a positive outcome from therapy is not the techniques used by the therapist but the trusting relationship between clinician and client.
Dawn’s approach is compassionate (sitting through the hardest stuff without rushing to solve things), genuine, humorous, anti-
oppressive, trauma-informed and based in Neuroscience.
