Lindsey Harmer

 

Pediatric Nurse (R.N. BSN)

 

Lindsey graduated Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

 

She began her Pediatric nursing career at Alberta’s Children’s Hospital in Calgary. She developed 3 years of pediatric emergency care experience there prior to moving home to work at BC Children’s Hospital in the emergency department. She then joined the IV team at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital providing Central line and IV therapy services. In BC Children's Hospital she had roles as a site leader, as an IV registered nurse and in the ER. In 2010 she made the move closer to home and joined Fraser Health.

 

Over the last nine years at Fraser Health she has continued to work in a variety of roles in Pediatrics from Pediatric Emergency, charge nurse, and manager.

 

She has completed several professional development courses including supervising skillfully and coaching out of the box.
